The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in after three fires were set early Tuesday in Kensington Market.
No one was seriously injured when a two-alarm fire broke out in a house on Kensington Avenue at around 6:10 a.m.
The fire caused $200,000 in damage and sent one man from a second floor apartment to hospital with minor injuries from smoke inhalation.
Two other tenants on the ground floor were able to escape unharmed.
Shortly after, a garbage fire went up on Baldwin Street near Kensington Avenue at Littlehayes Lanes.
Minutes later a clothing bin was lit on fire on Augusta Avenue.
More than 50 firefighters responded to the three fires.
