3 celebrity couples spend the long weekend tying the knot

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may lay claim to the celeb wedding of the summer, but other famous couples can’t let that stop them from living their lives.

Three other star-studded couples swapped vows this weekend.

Singer Ashlee Simpson, 29, and Evan Ross, 26, son of legendary performer Diana Ross were married Saturday in a ceremony at Diana Ross’ Connecticut home.

The pair started dating last July.

Simpson was previously married to rocker Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy, with whom she has a five-year-old son.

The groom’s sister posted a picture to Instagram last Thursday in anticipation of the nuptials.

“I cannot believe I’m about to see two of my favorite people in this world who have given more laughs than I can count, more love than a heart can handle, and more happiness than I thought possible, marry one another!! I’ve never seen two people belong together more!” Ross wrote on a photo of the three.

Former MTV star and current controversial parent Jenny McCarthy, 41, wed former New Kids on the Block talent and current Wahlburgers star Donnie Wahlberg, 45.

The ceremony was held outside Chicago Sunday night, preceded by two nights of celebrations with friends and family.

And basketball star Dwyane Wade, 32, wed Bring It On star Gabrielle Union, 41, in a Miami ceremony.

The two chose the wedding song of the moment, John Legend’s “All Of Me,” but with the added bonus of Legend himself performing the song live. The piano-playing pop star was joined by The Roots to help fete the happy couple.

Gabrielle Union thanked her dress designer Dennis Basso for his work on her gown.
