Man stabbed near Markham and Ellesmere

A 30-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing in Scarborough late Friday night.

It happened just before midnight near Markham and Ellesmere roads.

Paramedics took the man to Sunnybrook hospital with a non-life-threatening chest wound.

Police have not released a suspect description.
