Environment Canada says the risk of freezing rain in the GTA is over.
The agency had issued a special weather statement for Saturday morning including Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket, northern York and Durham regions and Hamilton.
Warmer weather is now moving through southern Ontario.
“A warm front crossing southern Ontario today will open the door to a milder damp period for the region,” the statement said.
