Police investigating Scarborough car arsons

Toronto police are investigating a case of car arson in the area of Markham and Kingston roads.

Police were called to Bethune Boulevard around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday and found two cars on fire and two others doused in gasoline.

The two cars doused in gasoline were allowed to be driven away by their owners because the damage was insignificant.

A bottle of gasoline was found at the scene.

The fires were put out quickly and there were no injuries.

There are currently no witnesses and no suspects.

Police are searching the area and asking residents if they saw anything suspicious.

Police said two of the cars belonged to residents of the house and two others belonged to guests.
