OPP concerned about rash of impaired, dangerous driving charges in 2015

We’re 24 days into a new year and the OPP says we’re not off to a good start on our highways.
So far over the first few weeks of 2015, they have laid 29 charges of impaired driving and 53 charges of stunt driving.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt of the OPP says other rules of the road are not being ignored, with deadly results.
Schmidt says four people have died this year because they weren’t wearing a seatbelt, three died because of distracted driving and six others were killed due to aggressive driving.
The OPP is asking people who witness someone driving dangerously in any way, to call 911.
