9 dead, including shooter, after attacks in rural Missouri

Nine people have died, including the suspect, after a 36-year-old man opened fire in several homes in Tyrone, Missouri, a small town three hours southwest of St. Louis.
According to a press release from Missouri State Highway Patrol, police were called around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday night by a young girl who reported hearing gun shots in her home. She fled to a neighbour’s to call police.
Police found seven people shot to death in three different homes.
An elderly woman, who appeared to have died from natural causes, was found in a fourth home.
The suspect was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound in a car in nearby Shannon County.
A tenth victim survived and was taken to hospital.
