2 stabbed, officer assaulted at downtown nightclub

Police are investigating after two people were stabbed and an officer was assaulted at a downtown nightclub.
The stabbings happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, when a fight broke out at Tryst on Peter Street, near Adelaide.
The injuries are not life-threatening.
An officer was also assaulted at the club, and he was treated and released from hospital. Two people are under arrest for that incident.
Around the same time, someone was stabbed near Lawrence Avenue East and Port Union Road.
Police said the person will recover.
There’s no word on suspects.
